ABOUT

Just moved to Dublin from the UK. Gigged playing bass and singing BV for 3 years in a function band I co-founded called The Upsiders, where I would gig on average once a weekend. We released an EP and album on top of the function work, and played festivals, weddings, corporate gigs and regular pub slots.

Despite gigging as a bassist, I am predominantly a guitarist and have been involved with various jazz jam sessions and teach guitar on the side.

Influences

Jazz, funk, RnB... Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck, Hiatus Kaiyote are big influences on my playing.

I also take a lot of influence from latin, folk and fingerstyle playing on guitar.

EQUIPMENT

Fender Telecaster here in Ireland.

As I have just moved here I am yet to buy amplification but can do depending on the band's current equipment.

I am on the lookout for a new bass, but again will prioritise buying based on needs of the band.

I have an SM57 & mic stand I use for recording which can double as a backing vocal mix if we need.
