SEEKING
Vocalist - General, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
Hi there
I'm in the process of forming a Metal band with a view to regular practice / recording an EP / gigging.
I live just outside Maynooth in a rural enough location where we can make plenty of noise without disturbing anyone and I'm giving my garage over to become a studio space at present so there's space to set up and practice (…ongoing project, it's all very basic at present).
I have a large bank of recorded licks and riffs to draw upon for composition (plus some semi-completed tracks), playing mostly in drop C at present.
There are a number of musical influences in my style right now, but I guess (if I had to pigeonhole it into a specific genre) it's geared more towards "Black" metal at present; for an idea of the current "sound", go search out a track online called "Elegance of Irony" by the band Groza, that seems to be pretty close to my stuff.
I'm looking for creative and experienced musicians (guitars/drums/bass/vocal/other) who are interested in writing original material and attending regular practice sessions.
I have several people who have indicated they are interested in doing vocals, but happy to hear from anyone who'd like to join in right now. Wouldn't rule out the introduction of keyboards/synth/midi controller to add background depth and ambience.
If you're interested in jumping in at the start of project to get creative, have fun and make to cool music, then this could be for you.

Marshall Stack, 3 other practice amps, Gibson Explorer, Gibson V, Boss HM2 (distortion), cry baby wah, TU2 (Tuner).
Recently acquired a decent mixing desk with integrate audio interface (Allen & Heath Zed R16); I have a selection of microphones, studio-quality headphones and I'm running Reaper DAW on an iMac, so set up for recording our progress.
Looking to acquire additional equipment as required for this project, as we explore the direction of travel creatively.
