Guitarist (30 yr old) living in Dublin looking to join band to compliment the 9-5 work week. I've been playing guitar for 15 years and have traversed numerous genres and influence over time from Alt Rock, to Hardrock / Metal, to Classic Rock to fingerstyle acoustic players and now I'm getting into some of the blues rock greats. It's ever changing (I suppose that's one of the best things about music!) and I'm not nailed down into one box.
I have solid music theory knowledge (self taught) but currently primarily interested in joining a covers / function band looking to get a regular gigging slot around Dublin looking to play a mixture of crowd pleasers and some more out there songs (but open to originals too). Working on developing lead improv skills and playing with other musicians is the best way to develop. I'm a very fast learning and can pick up a set list in a short window. I can competently cover backing vocals to suits a wide range (excluding bass - more higher register).
Seriously committed to join the right situation r.e. rehearsals frequency / gigging.
