I've been gigging for years and have a huge wealth of experience playing a variety of different styles of contemporary music including classick rock, alternative rock, modern folk, jazz, blues, funk, punk. I am also a reasonably competent traditional musician and tend to play the fiddle and mandolin in these genres although I adapt my playing of these instruments to modern music also. At the moment I would be very interested in starting a musical project which would put a focus on electronic rock, somewhat in the vein of LCD Soundsystem or Alt J, but with a slightly more folky timbre, kind of like Lana del Rey (if that description makes any sense at all!) I love a nicelush sound and I tend towards the more dissonant end of thinks melodically, although I do have an ear for harmonies.
