ABOUT
Renton.7 are a two piece indie-rock band established at the beginning of 2014. This unique line up has brought about a dark, gritty and raw emotional sound that sets this pairing apart from any other. Delivering a set that simply leaves nowhere to hide and described perfectly by Dermot Lambert of Blink as "…an unheralded and emotionally charged bunch of songs worthy of any festival headliner"(Dermot Lambert, 8th June 2014 Garageland Sessions Review), Renton.7 we're not out of place alongside Red Empire on the main stage of Duleek's Fireside Festival.
At the heartbeat of the band is Mark Douglas, a seasoned drummer who's sensibilities, subtleties and power-housing bring a multi-tiered musicality to the outfit. Fronting the band is guitarist, singer and lyricist Darren Renton. Another experienced performer, Darren's close-to-the-bone lyrics and delivery are what every music fan is hoping for from their artist.
Shortlisted for a number of festivals next year and already booked to return to Duleek's Main Stage in August, Renton.7 approach 2015 with unlimited aspirations.
