I am a cellist looking for work, whether it is performing live or recording lines for your tracks. I have a MA in ethnomusicology, so am very quick to pick up musical ideas, and am more than comfortable improvising. My performing experience has been with a number of bands, from experimental folk duo Síúlacht, which I also co-write the songs for, to new theatre company Corpsing TV. I also came runner-up in a songwriting competition in Belfast at the Oh Yeah music centre (2023), with my experimental soundscape on the cello. I have recently received an offer of resident musician at Stiuideo Feirste in Belfast, where I have also worked as a session musician for various projects, including mmmouth and Daire Heffernan's upcoming album. I feel comfortable playing in any genre with any guidance - be it quite specific or very open to creativity - and am generally a chilled out, open person, excited to meet people and share ideas :)
