Hey there, I'm Mark and I'm 18 years old. I'm in 6th year at the moment and will be doing my Leaving Cert Exams next June. Because of this, I am only looking to perform gigs and record for fun, so if you are looking for a fully committed musician who is looking to pursue a career in music, you'll have to come back to me in about 8 months :) Having said that, I show a great deal of commitment to music. I am available to practice on weekends and will be happy to open up my home for rehearsals and/or travel :) I am hoping to find a female singer who would enjoy performing in an Indie- Folk Acoustic Duo. My reason for needing a female singer in particular is for harmony, and I feel that the harmonizing of male and female vocals works especially well for indie-folk music :) I am up for playing both originals as well as covers! I've had a lot of experience performing shows and recording with bands over the years (ranging from a wide variety of genres) but a duo will be a first for me :) I have written originals but I feel that they could be worked on, so if you are good at songwriting then that would be a great help. As a band mate, I am very easy to get along with and have a positive and enthusiastic approach to performing and music in general. PS: Ferrero Rochers and other refreshments will be provided by me for rehearsals. I feel this is a necessary factor to take into account if you are unsure...
