Been teaching myself for around 6 or 7 years now, I can play guitar and bass. I am more knowledgeable about playing metal and punk but I also like rock and many subgenres. If it's a very technical band I might struggle because my chord knowledge is pretty basic. However, technique wise I'm quite skilled and can pick parts up pretty easily, not to mention I'm good at writing and playing rhythms.
