Hi
I am looking to setup a duo with a person who has a good knowledge of creating drum beats and interesting sounds. My main instrument is guitar, that’s how I write songs. I like to lay a guitar track and then layer it with orchestral and electronic sounds. My strong point is writing songs (music only) and good melodies but struggle when it comes to percussion/drum beats and advanced recording techniques.
I want to create epic sounding tracks which are more suited to unconventional soundtracks.
An album that is always an inspiration is the Miami Vice soundtrack from 2006.
