PipMarconi is principly a musical project derived from a collaboration between Philip McGibney and Mark Brennan. Based on the east coast of Ireland in a small village called Raheny in North County Dublin this collaboration brings together two diverse tastes in music that meet across boarders in between rock, blues, indie, folk and pop. Past and present.
Formed as a creative outlet to write original music and songs across all genres. PipMarconi is a bit of fun taken very seriously. It brings together qualities of music from McGibney with lyrics and vocals from Brennan although the two cross over from time to time. Aided and abated by Gary Eustace on Bass and production in the initial stages with Noel Dempsey on drums. Later recordings involve collaboration Philip Mooney Jnr for music and production with Bob Fagan on drums. Special mention to Marc Butterly on keys and piano.
