41 year old drummer with extensive recording and gigging experience. Recently relocated to Dublin from NYC. Looking to create or join a band. I have a 9-5 but very willing to rehearse/gig on evenings and weekends.
Creativity, songwriting, and musicianship are most important to me. I'm not a virtuoso, but I'm solid behind a drumkit. I keep good time and am good at finding and maintaining a groove and improvising. I'm interested in finding other like-minded musicians to create something new and vibrant. I enjoy collaborating on songwriting, arrangement, and lyrics.
I basically consider myself a rock drummer but I'm heavily influenced by jazz and many other genres as well.
