We're looking for various musicians to complete the line-up; lead guitarist, bass guitarist, (preferably if you can do backing vocals also, but it's not a necessity) and if you're a drummer please get in touch as the current drummer may only be temporary as he has applied to jazz school. Sly Green Sky is a newly formed Irish band rooted in hard rock with sweeping musical roots and horizons. There's an offbeat timing, rhythm and timbre to much of their material and a flamenco-inspired/world music flavour at times owing greatly to lead singer Craig Ó Mathúna’s flamenco guitar style and expressive folk-rock, sometimes primal or shamanic vocals and lyrics.
Their shows are always a musical journey, in a word, passionate.

90's and late eighties hard rock. Seattle scene and other so-called alternative bands and artists. Flamenco and other traditional and folk music. The global revolutionary and human spirit.
