ABOUT

Hi there :-)

I play guitar, bass, a little bit on the keyboards, and i play poorly on a bad drum set. But what I can do, I try to record as songs when the whim takes me.

I would be interested in jamming, making music together, recording it, and playing gigs, or just making tunes and enjoying it. I'd probably play the guitar, as that is the instrument I learned music on, but I would be comfortable on bass, or stretching to keyboards (and synths/midi and all that) if you would be more comfortable as a primary guitarist, or it suited a sound that we wanted to make.

If you would be interested in having some craic, I'd be up for just about anything with the music. Hit me up on facebook, insta, soundcloud, or twitter, /speedodoyle or email at mrdoyle19 (at) gmail

Influences

I was into rock and pop and that as a teenager (Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Micheal Jackson, Bob Dylan, general stuff in the charts) all quite mainstream stuff. I suppose John Frusciante’s solo stuff would be my biggest influence that not everyone is familiar with.

Eventually got into some rap (mostly Kanye and Kid Cudi), and electronic stuff, and I was a late comer to the Beatles. Only recently found Mac DeMarco, which is about as alt as I have gotten, but open to trying most types of music. I would struggle now with hard punk, heavy metal (heavier than Metallica's Black album and I get a bit lost), or Gansta rap.
