Hi
My name is Stephen Philip and I'm looking for a band. I am currently writing original songs and looking to start gigging this Summer. I have played in several bands over the past 14 years within a variety of genres from punk and metal to funk and stadium rock.
The link below is to some of the songs I'm currently working on. If you like the sound or think you'd want to jam, get in touch. I will be singing and playing guitar, ideally I'd like to get a three piece started with a drummer and bassist (with somebody on backing vocals perhaps).

Influences
I am influenced by all music. I love writing songs that get stuck in your head. Folks that were able to do that really well and got stuck in my head, include: The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, REO Speedwagon, Deep Purple, Nirvana, Roxy Music, The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
I put the above artists here just to give an idea of what influences me. I figure, if you like the songs I've linked, we could jam. I don't want to get some solid songs together. Bluegrass/blues/folk. Lets just get jamming and have fun making music.
