ABOUT

Started playing again after 3 year hiatus, recent videos of improvising to some flithy blues by Kenny wayne shepherd on my Instagram @oscarsgonevvilde figure out chords/progression, rip some improv solos is pretty much my routine right now, can learn note for note but I make music to enjoy myself, if its work then best be some pay at the end???????? really a chill dude, every band ive been in ( 8 years gigging, playing bass in a blues band
Mainly guitar these days, my main instrument) I always seem to be the mediator/arbiter of the inevitable clash of ego's. TBH not a whole lot bothers me these days, over a year on from the worst 3 years I hope to ever have. Loving music again, most importantly having fun playing. I make music for myself first and if people enjoy it that's a bonus. P.s if we gigging we dressing sharp, I don't insist on much, but nothing bugs me like a band in tee-shirts. Ideally as a blues band I'd go all out with suit, tie ( a sucker for a lady in a 3 piece) and hat (never gig without my SRV hat) At least black or white shirt, dark slacks/jeans. I wear vans, comfort/dancing ???? you do you. It might sound silly but it's professional. Very little effort and can work wonders

Sounds cheesy but I love all good music, any genre. It's all art, and if it ignites the smallest spark in me then it's influential

EQUIPMENT

2002 Fender American deluxe stratocaster (the only reason I'd pick up any other guitar is for alt-tunings)
Boss Gt-8 multi effects (it aint broke don'tfix)
And this may be odd I'm not sure tbh, but I run that into an Ampeg bass amplifier, basically a blank canvas for me to paint a picture on with the GT-8 pre-amp/overdrive. Works quite well IMO.
Japanese Fernandez Ravelle Guitar
Cort GB-4 Custom bass, but as I'm not currently planning on playing bass I'm selling this to buy electric drums. Adverts if interested, beautiful instrument!
Learning keyboards and mandolin but currently basic instruments.
Couple of old Epi Les Paul's from my early music days.
An attic like Narnia, God knows what instruments are knocking about, and that's actually not a joke!
