I’m a versatile drummer with many years of experience playing with original and cover bands.
I recently left a covers band I’d been with for four years. We covered tunes by Frans Ferdinand, Thin Lizzy, The Police, Blondie, Radiohead, Blur, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Amy Winehouse and Oasis to name but a few.
I would like to join a covers band of my own age-group (40+) with regular gigs (especially Weddings).
I have a full-time job, Mon to Friday, so I would prefer to gig at weekends however I would be willing to rehearse / gig on a week-day evening.
I have my own transport. I play a 5-piece Tama Superstar kit with Zildjian cymbals. I’m afraid that I don’t do vocals.
My influences as a drummer range from Brian Downey (Thin Lizzy) to Stewart Copeland (The Police) to Budgie (the Banshees) to Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters)
I’m a serious musician so no time-wasters please.
