I'm Susie. I'm a singer looking for a band.
I really believe that music is a state of being more so than a skill. I believe in it being an expression of emotion and a prayer to the universe rather than a business or goal to attain.
That being said, I do have quite a bit of experience….
I have about 20 years of musical experience under my belt. I was classically trained in violin and music theory from ages 7 to 12. I have a basic understanding of music (roughly until grade 4). I don't have much violin anymore but muscle memory serves well and I can still improvise basic melodies.
I started self- taught rhythm guitar at the age of 14 and have been playing since to accompany myself.
But my main passion… my spark and my love is singing. I've sung basically all my life, be it in church, in competitions, pubs, spiritual workshops and I work with the voice holistically as well.
For the past few years I have had a huge thirst to take music seriously. I have been writing my own material since 24 and have loads of ideas under my belt, but not enough instrumental knowledge or production knowledge to make it happen alone.
So I need a band. preferably of girls who share my passion and will collaborate and work together to create something beautiful.

Influences
My influences are quite specific.
What I’m looking for is someone who can fuse classic rock, bluesy, jazzy influence with natural sounds of therapeutic instruments (spiritual music is a huge influence: shakers, rain sticks, kalimbas.
