thanks mom are thrilled to announce they have released their debut EP ‘Wake Me!’ as a four-piece band.
thanks mom are a DIY indie/alternative rock band, formed in 2021 by Erica then later joined by Grace, Amelie and Cillian.
Their single ‘if you want me’ earned them critical acclaim and placement in "The 100 Best Irish Songs of 23”on Radio Nova, with over 61k streams on Spotify. Followed by ‘why don't u like me anymore?’, secured thanks mom the #1 spot on the iTunes Alternative Charts Ireland and featured several Spotify curated playlists.Following this success, they launched ‘‘Teenage Sacrifice’ at a packed party and then released their debut EP, ‘Wake Me!’ in 2025, performing at numerous notable events.
Inspired by bands like The Breeders and Big Thief, thanks mom pulls from these influences to create energy filled tracks with catchy hooks and heart wrenching lyrics.
Recently featured in The Irish Times ‘50 to watch’, thanks mom are one of the names to know is 2026, who are set to shake things up!
