OUTLNE
Recently formed, fun & creative band, along these lines:
* Thoughtful: Songs will be more than just 3 chords. Musical learning will be well respected.
* Accessible: Songs will not be the sort of heavy metal, prog rock, or contemporary classical music which requires extensive repeat listens to "understand".
* Non-Pretentious: Songs will come from honestly using our skills / knowledge / inspiration to make good music and good entertainment, with no pretentiousness.
* Melodic: Songs will generally focus on clear melodies/harmonies/rhythms, rather than on atmospherics.
* Fun: Songs will be fun, stage shows will be fun, but not excessive.
* Innovative: This will probably be an pretty innovative band, expect to see it working to develop new songs and new ways of making music.
DEMOS
We'll put up some demo songs and/or videos as soon as we have them.
LOOKING FOR MEMBERS:
* Players of any instruments which are good at varying timbres. This means electric guitar, electric bass, electric violin, electric cello etc., where you can easily tweak the tone knobs and plug in FX pedals etc.
* Keyboard players, as long as they are comfortable playing keyboards with good dynamic response. This means being able to use the strength of your keystrokes to play soft or loud.
* Lead singers, but only if they sing close to their own authentic accent i.e. if you are from Dublin but sing like you are from New York, we don't want that sort of thing.
* Background singers.
* Sound engineers, for the really impactful job of monitoring the band sound during live gigs and helping ensure it is good.

Influences
It might be more useful to say what we don't want to sound like.
We don't want to sound super inaccessible like very-heavy-metal, very-dancy-electronic, very-proggy-prog, and very-academic-classical like Stockhausen.

EQUIPMENT
* We have enough equipment for small to medium gigs where the PA system is already there.
* We don't yet have touring-level equipment like huge amps or our own PA system.
