ABOUT

I was born and raised in Galway on a staple diet of Irish traditional music. My mum is a button accordion player and wanted all her children to play Irish traditional music so off we were sent to lessons with Matt Cunningham from an early age.
As a teenager I rebelled against tradition and got into rock and metal music starting a band with friends from school.
As I got older my tastes broadened and today there's not a genre I won't listen to or consider playing.
To date I've played countless gigs with too many musicians to mention. I've played gigs all over Ireland and in 2013 managed to make it to China on tour with Fling.

The main instruments I play are bass (fretted & fretless) and double bass. The many instruments I mess around with are guitar, banjo, piano accordion, tin whistle, mandolin, ukelele, piano.
I'm involved with a number of bands at the minute but don't hesitate to contact me about work.

Current bands: Bite The Killer Cat, Fling.

Bands I've worked with: Midlands Big Band, Pulse, Dave and the Dastardly Deeds, The Tav Jam Band, After The Flood, The Sober Moe's to name but a few.

Previous bands: Idle Hands, Thought Process, Burma Shave, Owl Eyes, StereoTrend, The Curious Con Artists.
