TV People are an alternative rock band from Dublin who lace their dark and gritty sound with punk-infused undertones. Since forming in 2019, the band have honed their craft across the live scene, playing in some of Ireland's most iconic venues, including Whelan's, Mike the Pies and The Button Factory.
The band have collaborated with Dan Doherty (Darklands Audio), Christian Wright (Abbey Road Studios) and Grammy-award winning mixing engineer Caesar Edmunds (Assault & Battery London), and have garnered support from the likes of Hot Press, Clash Magazine, Abbey Road Studios, The Daily Star, Earmilk, Little Indie Blogs, When The Horn Blows, BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster, Amazing Radio, RTÉ and 98FM, plus more.
Having been named as 'Ones to Watch for 2021' by Hot Press, The Daily Star and Little Indie Blogs, TV People will build upon their growing momentum and fanbase with the release of their debut EP in August 2021.
TV People is the project of vocalist and lead guitarist Paul Donohoe and drummer Brendan Clarke.

TV People are looking for a dedicated and ambitious rhythm guitarist and bassist.
We are an original alternative rock band based in Dublin, with influences including Interpol, Pixies, The Sound, The Strokes, The Walkmen, Arctic Monkeys.
We released 4 singles last year and got lots of radio play and press coverage nationally and abroad.
We will be releasing more music over the next few months and plan to release an EP later in the year. We are looking to get some new members in to hit the ground running once gigs return in a few months.
We rehearse 2/3 times a week in the City Centre. Spotify link below with all of our released material to date.
