Hi to all out there! My name is Gary and I'm the lead singer/guitarist of a band based in London with a new album out in 2018 which has already been recorded and we are making plans for the release next Feb. We are a duo with one guitar/vocals/pedals and one drummer/vocals and we use backing tracks too
I'm originally from Dublin and have been over in London since 2009. We intend to release the album in both the UK and Ireland and one of the main issues is the drummer is a teacher and can't gig abroad(in Dublin ) as often as i'd like to help establish a presence to help the release
I am looking for a drummer to slot into the setup. We play with backing tracks and are hopeful to find someone that can play shows with me in Dublin, perhaps in the new year or before depending how we get on. so all we need is someone that can keep time with a click in your ear and the rest is already working. We are so proud of this album as it was produced by someone we admire and aim to make main stream radio play with it
I spend one week a month in Dublin so prac shouldn't be too hard and we have a lot of media material to help you learn in as fast a pace as you can manage
If joining a ready made band with a record label support and a PR/plugging team that have been on Kerrang! radio and played camden rocks this year in London sounds like something that's up your street please get on!
